“I love chocolates! Sundays were the days that I would go to my Memere’s house in Quebec to help her make all her wonderful chocolate treats for the church. Just imagine a little girl with unlimited chocolates — I was sure that Memere’s house was heaven on earth. Chocolate and Love — what more does any little girl need?
I inherited her recipes and started converting them to meet my health standards of no refined sugar, no corn syrup, and using only vegan and gluten-free ingredients. I started sharing my creations and everyone loved them. So, I took a leap of faith and started my Divine Treasures chocolate shop. What a life — I am surrounded by chocolates everyday — I am in heaven!”
After studying chocolate-making throughout Belgium and Switzerland and training among top European chefs, Diane Wagemann brought her knowledge and skills home to the USA, adapting family recipes to fit her own gluten-free and vegan diet. With a deep respect for tradition and an innovative spirit, Divine Treasures was born! Here, we push the boundaries of the expected and bring our signature flair to the high-end chocolate realm.
